What a nice colour to ;-)
It was Citron when I looked at it a few years ago, not sure if that's still the original paint on the front.

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

Went Yesterday and fetched a Truckman top for my pick up. On the way back stopped at Gaydon, had a very nice afternoon looking round. Found the BL prototype stuff very interesting and had a good look at the pizza delivery van first time I have ever actually seen it. In the new building you can look...

Re: 10cwt van rear brake shoes

Paul, I can’t find the ones that I thought I had - sorry. Trigger is right Marina/Ital 10cwt/575 rear axle uses the same brake shoes as MGB These are the cheapest on EBay - £10. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MGB-brake-shoes-never-fitted/122930651457 That makes sense. Wasn't the axle derived from the e...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

Don't forget, it takes about 15 minutes running under normal conditions to recharge the battery back to where it was before starting the engine, quite a bit longer with that extra load on. Highly recommend using a CTek charger to keep the battery fully topped up.

Re: Wheel size

Email Minilite in the UK, you might have to get a set made to order. Could you import a set of 13" tyres from Japan or UK or Korea? They're still available here, from name brands like Kumho.

Re: Wheel size

As long as they have the same stud pattern and similar offset, they should be fine. Optional tyre sizes to match the standard 145x13 or 165/70x13 tyres (with % difference) are :- 155/65R14 101 -1.77% 165/65R14 107 3.85% 175/60R14 105 1.90% 185/55R14 102 -0.91% 195/55R14 107 3.85% 205/50R14 103 -0.26...

Re: O series thermostat housing cap.

I presume you're referring to the cap on top of the thermostat housing (at the front of the head, by top radiator hose)? Should be a standard recovery type cap, compare an original one to what's on display at Supercheap (Tridon brand)? Tridon's catalogue doesn't list Marina or Princess, but gives th...

Should be the same as MGB - 1/4" BSF 26 tpi, according to here . There should be a lock washer under the nut. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_Afr8X08-dS4/S7Uhkx4Et0I/AAAAAAAABP8/v_s3zfDnNTw/s400/LUCAS%20PART%20NUMBER%20LRS%2000536%20PRE-ENGAGED%20STARTER%20WITH%20THE%20SOLENOID%20ON%20TOP%20IN%20...

Yup, thought it might be. PB have decided to start charging $400 p.a. for their previously free service, so an awful lot of build threads are now broken. :-(

Re: Alternative commercial/coupe seats?

I have a set of cloth seats from a saloon (probably Mk2), but no sliding adjusters. The reclining front seats have a bracket on each side, with a hole at the front and back for bolting on to the sliding mechanism. They've never been fitted into my Coupe, they were just sitting loose on the floor whe...
