Re: Classic Tyres
the old public information film mixing Crossply and Radial Tyres https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTue5HcdSW4 Dave This has reminded me of an incident some years back when I was about twenty which involved my first Marina fitted with radial tyres. A puncture repair was required which resulted in the...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Yes, sorry, I read your comment "so in my mind this means that road tax should not have been required after the end of October 2019" and thought you were expecting a refund back until then which is most definitely not the case. If I've read this correctly the car has been taxed since Apri...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Tax exemption is from April 1st the year after the vehicle turns 40. Has been the case since the moving exemption was reintroduced in the 2014 budget- the youngest a car can be and still be exempt is 40 years and 3 months. In other words if your tax refund was backdated to April this year that will...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Did something today that I have waited 23 years to do, not so much as to my Marina but for my Marina. I handed in the V5C at a Post Office to change the taxation class to 'HISTORIC'. I am one of that small band of owners who have owned their vehicles since new and I remember when the Conservative G...

Re: MARINA 1.8 SALOON_UEX935L
Here it is! If you do happen to return, how would you feel about leaving a note asking if they would be willing to sell it? If it's any good we'd get it back on the road, if it's too far gone we would break it to help keep others on the road  Hi Josh If/when I return I will endeavour to fi...

MARINA 1.8 SALOON_UEX935L
Last week whilst on an extensive walk I walked past a house and saw a sorry looking MAZDA on the hardstanding area in front of it. I stopped to view and then saw another vehicle next to it, Morris Marina 1.8 Saloon UEX 935L, which shows on DVLA as last use 1988. Regrettably I did not have my phone w...
