Re: A nice day for boost

That rear suspension is spending a lot of time on bump stops, from the picture. The springs and dampers are doing very little to nothing, car has mini rubber suspension. The bump stops should be shortened by the same distance as the lowering block, to maintain original suspension travel. The only pr...

Re: It’s that time of year!

From my understanding with the DVSA paperwork, I am sent as an MOT Station. The owner will need to declare annually the car is roadworthy and not significantly modified.

Re: Mk3 Gold saloon

EP oil to ATF was a modification when the gearbox first came out in the SD1 we used to have to change it on service. From Memory it caused two faults one being gear change quality the other being it used to snap the oil pump drive in gearbox

Re: Marina for a (nearly!) 18 year old?

See my post on the ebay thread. Lots of mechanical stuff shared with other BL stuff of the era. Simple as they come to work on. 1.3 easier than 1.7 personally I like the O series engine much better than the B series it replaced but even that a good engine.

I dropped truck man top on my pick up for trial fitting. Some catches from a previous top need to be removed for proper fitment.

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

There a distinct possibility looking at the technical drawings. There was nothing by of an explanation, as it was on ramp being worked on were able to look down on it.
