Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

That was me chatting to him, he asked if it was worth more or less than £500, I suspect more but without seeing it your guess is as good as mine, I think it's possibly a TC though as he think it has twin carbs. Saying that I have a feeling someone else who was sniffing around it who offered £500 has...

Re: RE: Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

Wow, not seen that before, well done for fixing it. How does she drive now? Trigger if the clutch slave bore is OK, I have some NOS seal kits as well as recon slaves. Not back in UK until 23/09 though. It's still up on axle stands as I need to sort the blowing exhaust out and I might as well do the...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

Dad came round today for a few hours so we stripped the rack and fitted this bush, it took a little working out what to do but after some advice from Josh/Jono we sussed it, the original bush wasn't even there anymore, just the outer casing. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180908/62ec931e4575bb86...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

I had a knocking noise then driving and with the wheel jacked up there was a hell of a lot of play inside this gator between the rack and track rod. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180907/edd2e1cfeffb2b1025a1e01ef8602933.jpg Apparently it's a common fault with them where this bush breaks up with ...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

Spent a couple of evenings this week addressing the stain on the rear seat. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180907/22205f6c5bba4d280fd0c28e4d5d0e48.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180907/009b074ccc65a44f1736c9aa4964e4a6.jpg It looks like where the car was in storage with the rear seat down...

Re: 10cwt van rear brake shoes

I bought a set for my Ital 575, I presume the Marina and Ital are the same. My local motor factors kept them at £27 though I found out I could have got them of eBay for £18. I'll try and find the part number, they were the same as MGB ones from memory.
