Re: ARE ALL FRONT DOORS THE SAME?

Yes, the corner on the mk3 is the window runner, one of a ton of differences. Mk2 and 3 doors also have an interior door handle bracket spot welded for the later style handles. They also have holes drilled along the bottom for the door card clips and a hole where the door capping is for the lock but...

Re: ARE ALL FRONT DOORS THE SAME?

The front doors themselves are all the same and will fit any model, van, saloon, coupe etc, but they have differences between mk's. You can straight swap them easy enough but if you want to make a mk1 door look like a mk2 or 3, or vice versa, then there's a crazy amount of work involved!

. Not my most favorite job on a Marina!
 Have you tried changing a brake master cylinder on a Mini?
No, but I did have a Mini once. An L reg mk3 in Limeflower. I drove it home from a scrap yard I worked at years back but I never got around to restoring it and sold it for £90 ::(:

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

Arriving home last night I noticed the lack of a red glow when pressing the brake. It was proper fun and games getting at the switch! The tar like insulation made it awkward as it had drooped and shaped itself over the pedal box so I had to rip it out to get at the already hard to get at switch! The...

I still need to get my girlfriend driving a Marina instead of her car, so I'd better pull my finger out and get another done for next year .

Re: Stocks of panels

It's definitely Allegro. I found a couple of interesting parts on eBay the other day, maybe not rare but not the usual panels you see. Window sill for a coupe.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMC-AUSTIN-PANEL-RARE-N-O-S-COULD-BE-RARE/401594000011?hash=item5d80de228b:g:BIUAAOSwsUJbWWxS and a mk1 dashboar...

That's handy to know. I might give them a call as the last ones I bought (eBay) I had to use lowering blocks.
