I got bulb holders and light units. I have switches but only mk1. Same for wheel trims and door cards. I don't have many mk2 bits.

That is a bargain. I would have paid him £150 at the most maybe. £400 for an incomplete interior needing work, forget it! I've turned down two cars local to me for less and that was for the whole car!
It needs a lock barrel, Gareth. I think you pull the wires from under the dashboard and touch them together to start it. I've seen it done on Starsky and Hutch. No, that's the proper way to do it....
