Re: Forums or Facebook?

I only have Facebook account to allow me to save Candy Crush progress. So far that's all I have found it useful for! Never post on it. I also have Whatsup but again not really used it. But I do have to say, I still use a mobile as a phone and text device and only for emergency as I don't like any s...

Re: CAR INSURANCE

All of my insured cars are on separate policies. Seems to work well and be no more costly.
Where as my bikes are in one policy which works equally well.

Try https://www.maniflow.co.uk
Although not on the website I believe they do them for the 1.3, definitely for the 1.8.

Re: Bop 92k - back on the road

A young lad that lived near me got his first car and ran it out of oil, wrecked the engine and as it was is first car ( read banger ) he scrapped it. A couple of weeks later with his second car he asked me to look at it as it wouldn’t start. It wouldn’t even turn over though all seemed ok electrical...

Lowering blocks

You also have to modify the bottom of the block as the Marina ‘pin’ is a bigger diameter than the Escort one. Fairly easy to do as it’s only soft ally. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210319/691b9424b4c4e5d290a13eb01fc38744.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210319/7533f577e8d0e308c36c2712c1f...

Re: Which tyres for Superlite 7x13 alloys?

I previously ran 185/55 which I think looked better than the 215/50 I’m running at the moment. The 215’s have some interaction with the arches on full lock in the front and big bumps on the back. Personally I’d go for 195/55 - I’m just going to have to wear out my 215’s as quick as I can! http://www...

Cam options for 1.8 B series

Initially a 255 in my TC. Flat torque curve-ideal for everyday use and easy overtaking.

Re: A question or two for josh (radio related)

Josh converted my old radio so I could plug in an iPod or phone ( though unfortunately now no good for newer iPhones with no Jack )
The sound quality through the 1970’s speakers is atrocious which I love! Just what I wanted. Authentic. [emoji6]
