Re: Bristol classic car show-Sunday 2nd May
I showed the pics of the Police Marina to a guy at work today and he went all dreamy and said, "I spent many a year ploughing up and down the M6 in those". Turns out he's a retired policeman from the West Midlands Police and used to be in the traffic dept. Unfortunately he has no pics of t...

Re: How many members?
The last list I saw said 358, but it varies by month to month depending on how quickly the members send in their renewal cheques, some can show as lapses and then send in their subs. when they realise that they haven't had the magazine.

Hello mate long time no speak,
Not sure how much they are either, but if you email Richard Clayton on regalia@morrismarina.org.uk, he should be able to tell you. When I saw him earlier in the year, I think that he had half a dozen on the shelf waiting.

Re: Bristol classic car show-Sunday 2nd May
I believe that the forum provider creates a standard picture size of something like 800 pixels wide and crops the rest. I reduce the size of my pictures to 640 pixels wide, before posting so they always fit. The reason they do this is that a smaller picture loads faster and uses less memory, ideally...

I'd keep it, it's part of the history of the car.

Re: Marina Stage Rally Action
That's interesting. So if the RHD Spitfire turns the wrong way, does that means that the LHD version up side down would work?
OR If you move it back behind the axle line it will work - this doesn't sound right to me.

Re: Marina Stage Rally Action
Ian Harrop has emailed me his newsletter for the latest outing of AOX at MIRA. It seems along the way they lost a wheel (halfshaft) but fitted a spare axle and carried on on day 2 and won! Forum members here have offered spare halfshafts and I think Ian and Trevor have taken them up on at least one ...
