I seem to recall the "Mythbusters" did the mothball test on one of their shows, can't remember if it made performance improvement, but it certainly didn't do any harm. I've got a box of them in the shed, having bought them to rid my garden of Moles, a Myth I now know from experience does n...

Yes I would imagine that you would disable the lever arm, or you would effectively have 2 working dampers which would no doubt make for quite a hard ride. If you want more detailed pics of individual parts just let me know, as I mentioned the suspension is in kit form at the moment so no problemO. C...

Yes well done Russ, top man, I to would love to be more active on the social side of Itals & Marinas, but unfortunatly apart from Paul the clubs local Rep there doesn't appear to be much Marina activity around these parts. So I rely on this forum to keep up with what's happening in the world of M...

How local does it need to be? I travelled 150 miles by train with 3 changes to buy my pickup in Leeds.
If you want one bad enough you'll travel to get one!

May the Pickup be with you....

I really had high hopes of you getting a proper Marina / Ital with all those pickups on the Bay lately. Now you will only be able to dream of a Mans car.

I'm coming to my first Marina meet, bringing my green Ital pickup, looking quite tatty at present, but every inch a true mans truck, anyway it's the thought that counts. I'm saving all my time and effort for my blue truck, which won't be seeing action for a few months yet!! What happens Saturday nig...

I personally can't see any reason why you shouldn't use a sealed battery with a dynamo, as long as it is being regulated correctly then it will only deliver what the battery requires. It's also one less job to remember, which has got to be a good thing.
