Re: front wings.

"Uncle Frank's Workshop" on here is a good place to look. There's some close up shots on the "MK2 1300 Restoration **PICTURES ONLY**" Link below..

PTH went for an MOT today, passed with minor advisories. No visual change but here's a pic anyway :-D

It's a TC steering wheel with a new cover. It was a pain to fit!

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

I painted all the dash trim on TDT the other day. I've given up trying to find the original colour for them, sometimes they look grey, sometimes they look blue, so I decided to paint them in my own choice, metallic British Racing green! Not bad  20190715_222823.JPG 20190715_222703.JPG The c...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

Yeah, I can understand. While most peoples preference is two door versions of anything, mine has always been base models, four door and estates, like the Dodge Coronet four door and the Plymouth Suburban (station wagon version of Christine!) I used to own a mk4 Ford Zephyr but I always preferred the...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

PTH is very worn out, flat rear springs, very settled torsion bars and the engine sounds and feels like it'll need a rebuild in the not too distant future, the oil light is staying on a little longer on start up every week, so I can understand him not giving a glowing review on that one, the binding...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?

He is indeed, very nice chap. Had a good day, he really enjoyed driving them, even though the brake drum on PTH started grabbing mid test! He really liked the white one but run out of memory on his camera to film anymore on TDT. Yes, very good video.

I think it is Gareth, the old bonnet is on ebay at the moment I believe and I recognise the new one as I sold it to the previous owner ;)
ah, nice one! Yes, I saw the damaged one for sale, someone would have to be desperate to buy it! Their not rare and used ones in good shape a pretty cheap.

Re: Newbie

Welcome  Is that the one that had the damaged bonnet a couple of years back? Marinas are great for daily driving. Rear seatbelts are easy to fit, the anchor points are behind the C pillars, under the seat and on the rear wheel tubs.

Re: Marina spotted in Worthing west Sussex!!!!!!!!!

I get glimpses of Marinas now and then, like seeing a ghost or a UFO "Did you see that?" I saw a white coupe in Swansea last year coming out of ASDA, looked mint. If I was in PTH he would have seen me but I was in my mate's van that day so I never did find out who it was. I seen a bl...

Looks like it got kicked by a field of horses and left their shoes behind  I like the mk1 Escort rear lights on the panel though!
