1.8 Coupe looks OK, i'd be wary about the mileage though looking at the interior - ripped seat, wrong steering wheel etc.
Looks like a few extra goodies in the back of the Suntor.
Place will be full of dealers i should think, probably see some of these back on the market in a few weeks.

I don't know if its already been picked up on, but the blue 'TC' Coupe is clearly modified and not just cosmetically. It should be a 1300 or a 1700, but the auctioneers don't seem to have picked up on that in the description. I rather like how the Inca Yellow coupe looks, it suits it. Its a pity BL weren't so bold in period. In terms of looks if nothing else, it makes it look like a closer competitor to the Mk1 Capri.

Prices realistic in general. Wait for them to appear on ebay within two weeks at treble the hammer prices !

It's a MK3 so 1300 only

Looks like they made decent money, Suntors seem a little cheap though. I wrongly assumed everything in this sale would go for mega money and therefore didn't leave any bids... slightly gutted to see how little the BX Digit sold for

Strong prices for the Coupes, seeing as they aren’t all original and in need of recommissioning and MOTs. It gives a real world view to their value.

I need to up my insurance.

It's a MK3 so 1300 only
Fair dos. It's been a while since I dug out my Mk3 brochure and I've never driven one. I knew it shouldn't be a twin carb B Series though

Have Marinas gone up in value again?! I think they all needed work in some way or another, one or two didn't even have an MOT! I've already updated my insurance twice, I can't keep up.
Strange why the Suntor went so cheap though :eh:

Everything is always going up Gareth. One of the weekly classic car papers was bemoaning the fact that classic car thefts are at record levels, although in the main, things like Fords, Jaguars and Land Rovers are going missing stolen to order. I wonder why? Because between reports of how threatened by legislation the classic car movement is, they are always celebrating how much money people are making now that classic cars are mainstream and not just a niche hobby! So what happens? Criminals get involved because they want 'in' on the get rich quick schemes.
