Has he fitted the callipers on the wrong side.?
(bleed nipple at the bottom..)
Is it a Mk3 or Ital.?
(PDWA device requires bleeding front and rear on left side simultaneously..)
Likely be a quick solution if yes to either.

Don’t know Ken, I am going up to see him next Tuesday as there has been no offers on here.

I'm too far away, Easi Bleed never fails on mine.

Again to far from Shropshire for me. But I use a pressure bleeder starting at the back then N/S/F followed by O/S/F. Doing that routine twice results in a hard pedal, then unscrew the PDWA switch until you hear a klick to reset the valve and the red light then goes out.

David, he reckons he’s done all the options, plus using an Eesibleed and a vacuum system to suck it through and the old school two man bleed process.
I’ll post here what I find.

Re: Coventry Area - help bleeding brakes
Okay here's my two penneth. I've bled brakes and had some success but also been dumfounded by brakes that won't respond and got sick of losing brake fluid over the floor, so vowed not to do it again (and got rid of my Easibleed). Most likely the situation I'm about to describe cannot apply to a Marina, but but most frustrating failure I had turned out to be (on a Mini) a previous owner had fitted the front brake back plates wrong-handed, left to right, and following adjustment instructions in the manual, despite apparently locking the drums and then backing off one turn on the adjusters, I was actually adjusting the shoes AWAY from the drums, so all the bleeding in the world still resulted in the pedal hitting the floor.
