Sinking seat
My front seat in my Mk2 is sinking, has anyone tried any other webbings etc to regain normal support?? The wires haven't snapped but have lost their tension.

Re: Sinking seat
When I had mine re trimmed the chap put a thick cloth material between the wire spring and the seat foam which stopped it cutting its way through the foam. This has worked so far but if the springs are going slack that may not help.

Bottle jack! I'm not that heavy lol. I can't remember if someone had used some mini webbing before. The sponge is good, I swapped that last year and it did help a bit.

Re: Sinking seat
I used the Mini webbing on my Ital Pickup. The Mini seats are slightly narrower, so I doubled up one side with one side of the hooks and rail from the broken webbing. I expect that they are still on there - Brian?

Thanks Chris, I thought I remembered someone trying it. I'll have a go.
