How many Marinas a day did the Cowley plant produce?? I ask this because I've recently discovered that my car is only the 5,384th car into production for 1973, according to the Heritage Motor Centre site 1973 cars start with chassis number 226001 and mine is 231384, so if I could find out how many cars were produced in a day, I could work out exactly what day my car was made, not that it would make any difference with the tax disc, just out of interest!
As a footnote, my Midnight Blue Marina which I had years ago, was an August 73 car and it's chassis number was 259330.
