Only me Dad. Other Geoff’s seem to have retired... shame. We are motoring down on Friday.

I'm sure it'll all be obvious when I see it in the flesh as I can't tell from the photo, but how do you actually get into your car Ben?
It looks great though, it's definitely got that look of a car that isn't to be messed with

Looking good Ben, got it dialled in now? I have spent the last few weeks checking, cleaning, checking again, double checking and cleaning! Looking forward to Sunday, we are driving down Saturday afternoon. What time is everyone thinking of getting to the show ground?

Pretty much. Still a couple of areas that need tweaking, but we are good to go. It won't be up to your standard just yet but at least she is out and about now.Chicken Hawk wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 9:35 pm Looking good Ben, got it dialled in now? Bit more today. Gearbox oil change.. clutch bled. And a job I'd been putting off for a few years because of the fiddliness and skinned knuckles.. NOS rear door handle.Gee tc wrote:Little update . Few more jobs. New BL boxed servo which was identical but with metric threads (noisy vacuum valve still ) and master cylinder. Another trunnion and found that the rear auto adjusters were incorrectly fitted when rebuilt with wrong sides but didn't seem to affect anything in the last few years and 3 MOTs. I now have a reasonable handbrake as an H plate was lost somewhere.. However it now pulls to the left under the improved but only under heavy braking. No wonder BL chose to get rid and put manual adjusters in! I also had to change my clocks over temporarily as the gauges seemed to have been getting worse with lower readings lately. I'm assuming it's the voltage regulator. Call to Josh perhaps?Gee tc wrote:Today was a bit of bling in readiness for the nationals.
Green champion leads
Unipart white oil filter
New wiper motor cover with correct date stamp from Josh.
New thermostat gasket.... a proper one
Chrome exhaust tip and oil cap.
Also rerubbered the original brake master cylinder as the NOS one I'd fitted was showing signs of leakage. I'll fit this next week with a NOS servo I've had for a while.
