It is hard to get a 100% screen capture. It keeps enlarging them.

On my Windows phone screen, where you've written 'Monserrat Light' and 'Monserrat Medium' wasn't far off how the print looked in the latest issue, size wise, even though it was against a pale blue background. And I found Monserrat Medium a good deal easier to read than the light. The examples you'd put in the white boxes, about pinion seals, looked clearer in both examples on the phone, than the print on the actual paper, and larger too. I'm not sure but if you wanted to match the size of the characters in the previous issue, in the new font, if the old size was 10 for example, I'm guessing you might have to increase to 14? But it depends how long the articles are! Anyway Monserrat Medium is an improvement.

As for content, I've always been impressed by Understeer. I get what you meant about parish magazines. Out of the car clubs I've been in, I've kept only the Vauxhall Viva Owners Club mags from the early 2000s, in A4 size. Written content was a bit patchy but the presentation was good in A4 size, glossy paper, even if the photos were b/w in most issues I had. The Cortina Mk1-5 Owners Club, not good, the Triumph 2000 & 2500 Register not a lot better, and the British Mini Club mag was well presented, in A5, but thin, and some of the written content didn't have the best grammar! So Understeer is very good.

Myself, I liked the old covers but that's just my taste. Looking at the font sizes again in artificial light at home, comparing the before and after with last issue, the new really is a bit of a strain on me eyes

just been reading the latest magazine after my other half had hid it and then forgot about it until I had done a few chores anyway the o series article was intresting I have an o series salesman guide that refer's to the o series being 35lbs lighter then the b series and they was one other vehicle that was not on the list that had the o series fitted in the last year's of the tr7 production was moved to Canley there 25 tr7s were fitted with o series engines as experimental cars prob ably a better choice than the troublesome triumph unit
cheers baz

The new mag is out, just getting into it now - really good Mk2 Saloon for sale on page 5, I went to see it myself and take the pics. There’s also a genuine TC Coupe requiring somework and a 1.3 Mk1 Coupe.

If you are looking for a car then snap them up quick - as a Christmas present to yourself.

Just got in from work to find the new mag on the door mat and glanced through it over a coffee. It's got a very professional and stylish look to it now. I love the feature on wheels, it reminds me of Hot Car magazine in the 70s!

Tenner, if you aren’t a member yet, you know what you need to do. None of these cars are advertised elsewhere to my knowledge.
