I have a late 1300 Marina standard engine and Borg Warner 65 autobox in a 1960 Minor. The kickdown cable is attached at the gearbox end but is just taped out of the way at the carb. end. I have looked in the factory Marina workshop manual but it does not show the connection to the carb linkage.
Has anyone got a picture of how it is connected or can suggest where I could find out?
Thanks for looking.

Re: 1.3 auto kick down cable help needed
I can think of a member called Gil who goes by the tag Slow Ital (maybe one word?) on here who has a Mk2 1300 auto. Perhaps he will be along later or maybe you could PM him? I've got a 1.8 TC where the upper end of the cable is anchored to the thin metal carb heat shield, but I'm pretty sure single carb applications use a different method.
