cowley convoy

hello everyone
i am on a recruitment drive on behalf of the facebook group "cowley convoy to the pride of longbridge".
The Pride of Longbridge is on Saturday 14th April and I am organising the Cowley Convoy run. The run is open to all vehicles with a Austin or Longbridge connection and as Cowley and Longbridge were linked from 1952 to 2000, that includes many Cowley built vehicles. MINI Plant Oxford have kindly agreed to let us start the run from the plant and we plan to leave at about 8.30am. We will have run plaques and hopefully flags. I am particularly keen to have some of those Cowley built vehicles on the run, Morris Minors, Maestros, Montegos, Marinas, Itals, Ambassadors, Princesses, Acclaims, SD1s, Triumphs to name but a few.
