Roughly most bodyshops local to me work on £200 to £220 per panel including paint but plus VAT. Had an estimate to paint both sides of a customers BMW E90 that had been key scratched it came in at £1500 +VAT

I paid £700 for my coupe, I'd stripped it but they did the prep and provided all the paint etc. It was a no rush inbetween jobs and took about 8 weeks but I was very happy with the result, he's done a few for me now. Too far away to recommend for you though I'm affraid.

As has been said already about £200 a panel gives you a rough guide, most Bodyshops use that as a base price at the moment, some add paint & materials and VAT to that price too so £700 is not surprising, reasonable when you think what goes into a good paint job, especially when you see the labour rates main dealers charge per hour just for mechanical work ( I`ve seen rates of £85 an hour!), I know it seems a lot but when you add up the hours spent on prep it is good value, ..as long as they do you a decent job in the end ;)
