I dropped truck man top on my pick up for trial fitting. Some catches from a previous top need to be removed for proper fitment.

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Had a look yesterday and today at doing some door repairs on PDA. This one is hanging, quite literally . I'll post more pictures on PDAs thread when I'm nearly done .
Today, while freezing to death, I also removed the fuel lines from PDA for replacement, drained the fuel tank into my van minus the lumps of rubbish and cleaned it out, removed the oil and filter and some other bits, while my girlfriend made a start on the interior clean up .
Tomorrow is a weldathon with an early start and late finish

You won't have any problems with sediment blocking those drain holes, Alex!
(Unlike the two litres of water I recently released from the n/s/r door on my 2014 Astra!)

Yeah she enjoyed it alright! Those seats were actually reupholstered a couple of years ago by a Polish guy in Lurgan so they're actually still super soft and plush - had her lulled to sleep within a few miles

Washed mine on Sunday for the first time in 18 months, then took it for a drive in the sun and then tucked it back in the dry with the cover on.
Probably the second time it has been washed with soapy water as it was very dusty and had a film on the out side.
Will get a nice polish and service soon.

Did the same Paul, quick wash and a spin on a sunny winter day. The last time I drove mine in a February was when it was a daily back in the late 90’sJubileeNut wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 8:00 pm Washed mine on Sunday for the first time in 18 months, then took it for a drive in the sun and then tucked it back in the dry with the cover on.

Hi Bryan. The little Triumph is an appendix J racer.
It is 2 litres with triple 45mm webers on it. It revs to about 10,000 & from memory it did 146mph down Conrod straight at Bathurst.
I believe John Leffler sorted the suspension on it.
Peter would like it quicker off the line but once it gets going it is pretty special.

Took mine for MOT today. In the rain 30 miles up the M6! (Horrified) . Had to free off two brake caliper pistons. Two track rod ends and a steering gaiter. Has now been dropped off at the paintshop to rectify the front wing. Luckily he still has the original paint from the 20l4 respray. Also clocked the 50k on the way.JubileeNut wrote:Washed mine on Sunday for the first time in 18 months, then took it for a drive in the sun and then tucked it back in the dry with the cover on.
