I shall be there! Should be a good event considering the circumstances.

I'll be bringing some spares booty and a number of Workshop manuals donated to the club by John Lawson.
They cover many BL cars so I'll put them out around the arena... a quid or so will get some extra money for the club panel funds.
Still 3 sets of spot brackets left .
A wooden dash and a recon
1.3 camshaft NOS unused should anyone want one

Put this here too:

I will add this now so am in time. Hope this event does go ahead as it looks like one of the few national type this year and one that Marinas/Itals are part of as the heritage side of it.
Hope you all have a good day and if any photos are available look forward to seeing how things went. Thank you.

Hi Barry, looks like its too late to book a car into the show, but you can still book tickets to get yourself into the show until 12 noon tomorrow.MARINAMADBAZ wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 10:48 pm missed the ticket deadline

I'm hoping to drive down, but my car isn't exactly in show condition at present ... so i'll try to hide it in the car park!
Re: BL show 6th September
Yours is probably mint compared to my one so I wouldn't worry too much! We can represent how Marinas looked in the 1980s!

Re: BL show 6th September
I've just phoned the organisers and you can turn up on the day with an eligibe car, arrive between 7.30 and 9.30 though please. You may well have to pay though (but it'll be cheaper to pay to enter an eligible classic than it will to come in a modern!).
Please don't worry about the condition of the cars, so long as it's roadworthy and a Marina/ Ital or derivative then so far as I'm concerned it's more than welcome to be on display. It would be a bit hypocritical for me to complain about other people's cars given what I've turned up in over the years (and I'm bringing a Triumph again this year )!
Visitors (in non eligible classics) can also pay on the day and park in the public parking, public entry is after 10am (so all exhibitors need to be in place by then, pre booked or not!).
