My 1978 1.8 GT.....

Post by lofc2909 » Thu Sep 10, 2020 5:26 pm

Is finally with me (pic attached). Lots to be done so if anyone knows of any decent seats (front and rear) plus bumper under-riders I'd be grateful.

Glad to have joined the Marina brethren and will post updates as and when things start progressing.

Welcome along. Nice car, especially with it being a GT.

Good seats are a rare thing for any model it seems, I suspect you might end up having to look at getting them retrimmed.

I know Gary (minispeedstar on here) had NOS Mk1 underiders, I don't know if he had Mk2 ones as well but they do come up from time to time, keep an eye on eBay!

looking at your GT has it had the vinyl roof taken off as it looks like it is painted

Yep. It's had a hideous paint job at some point in the dim and distant past although this has probably helped preserve it!
