74 10cwt slave cylinder alternative?

Post by da55ter » Tue Jun 06, 2023 2:18 pm

Anyone know of an alternative clutch slave cylinder for a 4 speed 10cwt. Looking online they're £70 so was just wondering if anyone knew of an alternate replacement.

Best to check with Chris Weedon. He gets ones refurbed with stainless inners. Not sure how much at the moment.

He’ll pop up soon I’m sure Image

As if by magic! Yes I can supply reconditioned clutch slave cylinders, clutch master cylinders and brake master cylinders. They are all sleeved in stainless steel, passivated zinc plated and fitted with new (not NOS) seals and piston/spring if necessary. I only sell them on exchange as your old one will be reconditioned to be made available to another Marina or Ital owner.

The most recent batch of clutch slaves are now £70 including postage, plus a surcharge of £15 refundable on receipt of your old unit. The imperial ID seamless stainless steel tubing is imported from Australia so the reconditioners costs have gone through the roof.

Wow, only Australia making that tubing? Nice to know they survived the loss of their car manufacturing industry.

Hi Bryan,

I think that it’s available from the US but it’s even more expensive!
