"THE ANCIENT MARINA" From the archives
This was a full feature that appeared in the 1993 May edition of Fast Car,about the MG Montego turbo engined Marina with a TR7 back Axel and drums and Ambassador front brake calipers and an estimated 0-60 mph in 7 seconds, sorry about the poor quality, its a copy of a copy initially baldly copied in the first place! and re-hashed by me in the full impact of black and white, patience please then,so until someone puts on the original colour article i'm sorry this is the best i can do.

That 'baldly' copied item was from one of the 'Understeer's (or is it 'Marina Matters'?) I edited, I recognise the page numbers......
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

Ay up mike
Sorry i've forgotten how much things have come on over the years, and photocopying is one of them (or should i now say scaning!) in the 17 years since this was first published in Marina Matters and Mike how can i pass any comment when you use to edit my "Well Ard " section in the same magazine a feat of considerable undertaking and immeasurable patience!

All,
I can confirm that XHK875L is wrapped up in my garage, albeit it a bit dusty. I am the owner/creator as featured in the article (Paul Hedger). The original article was released in 'Fast Car' magazine, and I assume the feature was copied into other magazines. From memory the statement that the car has not been on the road since 1997 is correct, I would have to look at the last tax disc to be certain.
Everything is in good order but I have not run the car up for about 4 years. At some point I will try to post some photos.
I guess it would still turn heads if I took it out......
