Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
This morning I went to my local spray stores and bought some paint and lacquer for Reynard and even picked up a mini spray gun too. I also bought a pair of 6x9's speakers for the parcel shelve. Hopefully the weather will be kind to me this weekend so I can touch the paint work up and start the fit out for the ICE

However 3 days later said bottom of wing ready to be rubbed down again and painted. Took day off form working on car. Heater motor for said car arriving today yipee!. Paddington the Ital awaiting her bootlid refitted. Will paint that over the weekend hopefully. Using the everyday Omega at the mo. Saving Bumbles petrol for next weeks Dumfries show.

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Popped both front and rear wind screens back in
Front was fine, rear was an absolute Bas****
After a call to Frank we worked out it was a MK2 rear rubber with drain holes which fits the stainless trim.
As the MK1 has no drian holes in the body the seal had to be sealed completely.
Problem was it was so so tight compare to the 'dick in a bucket' old seal which was perished.
The good news is it is in, the bad news is that the rubber being slightly longer and tight the stainless joiner now does not reach . (means the inside screen part of the rubber is wider than the old one) I have a plan to sort this out and we decided to carry on the fitting after the 3rd attempt at putting it in, even though I had lost 2 inches of the stainless trim by it popping out. this was rectified after wards with a home made tool to flip the seal back round the trim.
Interestingly the best way to stop the rubber and screen moving up and then not going back down was to have a loop at the top and the bottom to pull the rubber round the body. This fixed it in place and was the only way to get it in
IF it leaks now it is not coming back out
Just refitting rear seat today and driving back home

What did you do to your Marina today?
Didn't do anything to either car as went out to visit relatives. But made a detour to pick up 9 reconditioned steering racks that I agreed to buy from a guy back in May. One Mk2/Mk3/Ital and Seven Mk1s and an Italian manufactured Mk1.
I can't guarantee them as I didn't do the reconditioning work myself. There's no packaging and they won't fit in an envelope, so I'll bring any orders to P'boro.
£25.00 each - PM me if interested.
I would have put this in the Classifieds but I can't see them from my iPhone.

I never got a chance to do anything as it was peeing down all day here so I took Reynard shopping for some camping essentials for Peterborough
