You certainly are.

For anyone else from Devon having trouble:

Once one car is submitted, another can be done straight after.

We have had a brilliant uptake on the census this week. I can still see gaps where some forum members have not submitted their entry's ;-)

Josh is probably asleep at the moment after his mammoth Internet search and entry's of last night, but I will try and update the stats ASAP !

Thank you all!!!!

Hi Ben, just looked at the census data and noticed that neither of the cars that I put up are on it. Did you get the info?????

That's not live data Gary / Brian. I did it before you added your cars. :-)

Right... I've updated the Census Data table.. It's a bit more upto date although I've been having issues with my HTML :( Currently 6 not on the list (17.2.13 @ 21:24)

Anyway, please take a look at it. I've added a search function on the table so you can filter out what you want to search for, i.e. MK1, MK2, reg numbers etc.

I am still perfecting the analysis so please bear with me.

Ben

Hi Ben, Are you going to standardize on car Reg format and date format?
I notice a few have the date back to front or american style?
Just may make it easier to sort through later.

I will do when I get to the analysis bit. The difficulty was getting the forms to standardise on a format. It didn't want to play ball so I'll do them offline.

Just started to add some stats to the updated Census. If you scroll down to the bottom of the table you will see a chat depicting engine numbers across the range. I'll try and do some more tomorrow. My brain hurts now!

More Analysis Charts up now! These are:

Years of Registration - Cars Owned / Not Owned

Months of Build - Cars Owned / Not Owned

Engine Stats

Van Overview

Can I ask people to have a good look and think of any analysis you would like to see now that I've done this little bit? Remember, just because a car is listed as "Not Owned" dosen't mean it is scrapped, I need to go through and manage the scrap markers for cars. If someone would like to help look up dates of liability for cars I'd be eternally grateful!! Josh knows how time consuming it can be looking up data on the DVLA site but the more data rich we are, the better the stats become!

Also... If data is not submitted (Dates of ownership for example), I can't release a decent analysis as the stats just look odd. I will work out a way of allowing data to be updated that may help with this at some point.

I think eventually we will have a Marina registered every day from day of release until end of production!

Too early to really make any calls on data but it seems from what I have seen so far that 1.3s are the most common and that lots of DLs were kicking around back in the day but few have lived on. TCs comparatively rarer in period photos etc but survive better.

Also coming across so many more SDLs recorded as DLs now!

Quite a few Specials featured in TV shows!

1.8 DLs seem to be the rarest variant so far (well, if we're counting 'normal' Marinas rather than special editions).

Got lots to do tonight

Whoops entered GTW 231Y (Jim Cawte's Ital van) incorrectly and ended up pressing enter too soon, sorry

No worries, ill Change it.

I like the chart for months of production as it will be interesting to see what month survived best through production. My bet is September at this rate! Also 1973/74 cars are more alive now which is surprising since they aren't tax free!! Mk1 was always going to have greater numbers too.
