I.O.W. 2008

Post by marinabrian » Wed Dec 12, 2007 10:27 pm

I'm up for that!, now where can I find a suitable bowser from? HMM !.
The last time I attempted a run of that distance was in my trusty steed UYA 631M, a poorly appointed T.C. Jubilee, in Citron Zit Yellow, which if memory serves me right, cost just over the £100 quid mark, Graeme "Scurrah of the 'Boro" fared marginally better at £90 in Justin Whatsisfaces old T.C. OVT 957M, and best of all was Russ"Timberwolf" Beckett at £60 in NELL powered by Ginsters pasties, Mars bars, & Vimto !!

Now for the date of this excursion - Mid 1990, Four Star @ 38 pence per litre, I'm sorry to sound harsh but a todays fuel prices, it'd be cheaper to fly by chartered jet, than drive a T.C. on a 900 mile round trip!!.
Who fancies towing the I.O.W. upto Whitley Bay?
Offers

Brian. :D

I guess this was the Jubilee you mention :o
I understand that Richard Young still has it!
Not so much of the Zit description please! That is worse than calling it a lemon  It is a colour that makes the car stand out from the crowd, if you are going to vomit, just make sure it is not on my paint work after it has been all done!!
