Nice to see that free really does mean free - and also to see that they've both gone to a good home.

Certainly have!

Scragnut, I am assuming that CVC 410T was a 1300 LE Coupe? My Grandads LE was CVC 101T! We are still hunting for her!

Ben
CVC 410T was a MK3 1300L in Harvest Gold Metalic with a Brown Vinyl roof - it was my first car bought in 1985 for £900 just before I passed my driving test (Marina tales to follow.....there are many) I kept it 'til '89 when I traded it in. I'd just like to know if it's still around - it'd be nice if it was.
I still love the Marina so it's nice to know there's guys around like you that are keeping them alive - well done again for saving these two.
Wouldn't mind another decent Marina at some point in the not too distant future (always wanted a TC but then didn't everyone?)

Ahh! Just seemed so close I thought it may have been an LE! I checked with the DVLA and it appears that once you sold it '89 it never got re taxed.. Similar story to my Granddads.

Thanks for the heads up.
I saw it once not long after I traded it - it was in Loughborough so I hoped it was still around. Doesn't look like it though does it - unless someone's got it tucked away somewhere (some hope!). Oh well, anyone got a MK3 they no longer want?
