Engine number

Where is the engine number located on a Marina 1300 please ??
On front right of cylinder block by no1 spark plug, next to alternator/ Dynamo. Expect to start something like 12V its a stamped aluminium plate held on with two rivets. However they tend to get removed when the block is rebored.
