Re: Roll bars front and rear, dates and models

Graham (AusMarina) from Brisbane has a NZ assembled Mk2 saloon with no sway bars (see this thread).

I just checked underneath her and the rear brackets on the diff, tubes through the chassis and front mounting points are all there but don't look like they have ever been used. I wonder if the ...

Re: Citron Yellow

Is that all they weigh?? They look enormous!

Yes!! It is amazing how much weight you can save if you start with an aluminium v8 and build a car around it.

And yes again, they are a big car. You can open the boot and put a 44 gallon drum, on it's side, into it and close the lid. Not too many cars ...

Re: Bad press

In the seventies, my mother had an Aussie TC manual. My dad knew there was a bit of a problem with it as the car was a bit ordinary performance wise. One day he was playing around with it, reving it constantly, with his head under the bonnet when it gave a strange sort of bang noise. All over the ...

Why does it cut off half the pic?
Just right click the picture, left click on properties, then highlight the url address and copy it. Open a new window, then paste it in the address bar at the top , hit enter and bingo....you have the full picture.
