Rear wheel bearings
I need to replace the rear wheel bearings in my wagon. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction with regards to the size I need to order. Would rather not have it in bits before I have the parts to fix it. If someone knows what bearing I need to order that would be a huge help ...

Re: Shrinking assets..
My partner just told me to ask " Is one an auto and how much do you want?" . At the moment we have an HSV Clubsport with a cracked piston, a Nissan largo with a cylinder full of water and a Mk 3 Marina wagon. Guess which one is the daily driver. I have been instructed to fix the largo and sell it as ...

Re: Newest Marina
Mine must have sat around on a yard for a while, Its number 8011600 but registered on 29th October 1982. That chassis number suggests that it was assembled earlier than all but one of Kilroy's, but then it sat all lonely for a year or two longing for someone to take it home.

Re: Newest Marina
Would be interesting to find out when the last one was registered. I was shocked to discover mine was as late as the end of October 1982. That's what got me thinking could I possibly have one of the last registered Marina's in the world? Interesting thought. Those 2 photos of yours Kilroy, They ...

Newest Marina
I was just wondering who has the latest manufactured and registered Marina? I have a Mk3 1700 estate that was first registered on the 29th of October 1982, the chassis number is NP5WKS8011600. I am not sure when they stopped making them over here ( New Zealand ) but I would assume that the last few ...

Re: Water ingress through air vents under wipers?
Does your heater have a leak from the core? Or maybe the heater itself has a leak so the rain water leaks out into your car before reaching the drain on the firewall?

Re: Water ingress through air vents under wipers?
Do you have door switches for the interior light? I found in my van one of the rubber blanking plugs that filled the hole where the light switches should be fell out. Water runs down the A pillar and into the hole then onto the floor under the kick panel. I used a small strip of insulation tape ...

Re: Water ingress through air vents under wipers?
Yeah thats all I did to solve water on the floor of my van. It's a MK3 and the drains are made of rubber with a flap on the front, makes an excellent trap for all sorts of gunk, so they get blocked now and then.

Manifold gasket part num?
Just wondering if someone out there has a part number for the manifold gasket to fit a 1700? Doesn't seem to be on the modern parts computers in this part of the world, for some strange reason.
