It's Gone!

Hi all,

It is with some sadness that I have to tell you all that I have sold my Coupe, thus ending 18 months of Marina ownership. the reason for this is solely that I can't get enough legroom in the front to allow me to stretch out my legs and relieve the stress on my poor old painful knees, that ...

Cholmondeley Castle Classic Car and Motorcycle Show

Hi all, just wondered if anyone is attending this show at Cholmondeley castle (pronounced Chumley)in Cheshire on Sunday 11th may. It's not a bad little show, classics have separate parking, away from the modern stuff and close to the show field. I plan on attending as do some of my friends, I have ...

Re: Rear Shock Absorbers

Hello all! Any one no where I can get new rear shox for my '72 coupe? Presumably they were a universal item fitted to loads of BMC stuff in the seventies? I really dont want to pay £30 a side from Earlpart......
You could try Buckley Tyres, you'd have to ring them and get to talk to one of the ...

Watching that very entertaining video brought back memories of fitting replacement doors to my old mini clubman estate only I had to use an hydraulic ram to fettle the door apetures as the drivers side was 1.5 cm bigger than the passengers side ! !

Marina Hydraulics

Just been having a read of these posts, seems there are quite a few places out there that could still have hydraulic parts for our cars, Why not add their internet addresses to the Useful and related websites pages, might save someone a lot ot searching through the forum?

Hello all,

Hmmm, Weekend job? well where do I start lol!
I think that this weekend I'll change the distributor for the nice shiny new all electronic one I got on Ebay as I am sick of fiddling with the points setting. If I get around to it I'll take the odd pic and put them on here
Failing that I ...

Hi Sam, Is yours a single line master cylinder? if so, I have a brand new replacement one for the girling system. it's not an original Girling item but a Moprod one, so it does look a bit different. I bought it to keep as a spare for my TC which has lockheed brakes as I thought it may fit. I'd be ...

If minispeedstars car had a roof I may be interested as the detailing on it is superb but I will settle for Uncle Franks van because I love commercials and again done to a high standard. My 72 van is a wreak at the moment so does anyone have a pair of floor pans?

For floorpans (front) try www ...

Hmmm, why a marina?? Well, I can't say it's a trip down memory lane as no one in our family ever owned one (must be rare LOL) the only time I had ever been in one before I got my TC Coupe was years ago in a P reg 1.3 Coupe which used to oscillate and sway badly at any speed over 65, enough to put ...

Well done Fellas, a nice little haul of panels there, all good for keeping our cars going, I keep scouring the local shows near me in Chester but so far nothing apart from the odd filter and brake part. Anyway, keep up the good work
