i agree with the problems with earthing & bulb holders etc, or bad insulation which can blow fuses
but unless youv'e had bad bulbs, they tend to blow because of to high voltage, pointing to regulator in alternator as memtioned
by 1972tc coupe...thats my best guess

I rebuilt the callipers first time on Gabby [ marina] but went the spitfire way 4 years later when they needed doing again.
bought new from david manners b'ham , only slight adjustment to brake pipes & much cheaper than Big Red.
very satisfied.

That's a bugger Gil. I had same problem with my 1.3 coupe, the key stuck in the barrel and I thought it wouldn't budge. Spent about ten minutes gently twisting, pushing and pulling and it eventually came free. After that I put a drop of oil on each side of the key before putting it back in the ...

Took Gabby out for the first time since lockdown 2020, got as far as sainsburys for fuel & tyre presures, key stuck couldn't turn off ign..
Using small adjustable spanner [all i had with me] closed around key, managed to turn key to off. having got fuel had same trouble to start up,
so left it ...

Ive got a N/S front wing spare, new /steel/ one of a pair from Dave Richardson for the Ital, only fitted the O/S,
if thats what you want. pattern though, but the O/S went on OK...
