Re: Lowering blocks
Grayston Engineering used to list 1.5” lowering blocks for the Marina, but deleted them about ten years ago. Someone on here may still have a set in their parts stash.
However - if no joy there, then the Grayston Engineering lowering kits listed for the Mk1 & Mk2 Ford Escort will fit. There is a ...

Lowering blocks
Afternoon all
I’d like to fit a set of lowering blocks to a Marina saloon, so that the stance of the car is levelled. Please can anyone reading this who has lowering blocks fitted to their cars, give me some help with which blocks you’ve got, where you bought them, and whether they came with longer ...

Re: Which tyres for Superlite 7x13 alloys?
The 205's also make contact with the inside lower edge of the front guard, but that has more to do with the fact that these Superlites are 7" wide with 100mm backspace - which is the minimum required to clear the suspension upright - so the outer edge of the wheel rim is further toward the edge of ...

Any chance of a close up shot so I can see the tyre profile, Kilroy? Ta!Kilroy wrote: Thu Mar 18, 2021 9:04 am 205/60x13

Re: Which tyres for Superlite 7x13 alloys?
Thanks guys, for the info, links and pics, bloody great! Just what I was after. So for clarity, the only tyres that present issues with arch rubbing are the 215’s, all the others are ok?

Which tyres for Superlite 7x13 alloys?
Evening all
I’m thinking of getting a set of Superlite 7x13 alloys, to fit a mk1 saloon. My question is, which tyre size options would suit these rims?
Cheers

I’ve got a plan to take a stock 1.8 B series, and use a set of HS4 twin SU’s on it. When I do it, I want to put a warmer cam in too, and have the dizzy recurved to match the cam.
So, my question is, which cam? The plan is to build a 1.8 saloon that will cruise dual carriageways and ...
