Had to purchase a new tarp for Kermit's tent and replaced the torn and tattered old one that had perished in the sunlight. Damn that UV light!. Had the Clutch Slave cylinder fitted and...

Re: Morris Marina 1700 Estate - Front Grille
I recently bought a Morris marina and was looking to buy a new grille for it as the one I have is damaged, was wondering if anyone knew is the 1.3 grille compatible with the 1.7 models? Pretty sure all Marina Grilles are interchangeable. Two lugs at the bottom four holes in top for screws.

Re: Another clutch question
Having identified my Clutch Master Cylinder is leaking am wondering if it would be wise to change the Slave as well.
How easy is it to extricate the cylinder? I have rebuilt, many moons ago, a Triumph Spitfire MK3 Slave - easy peasy to remove, but the Marina Slave looks like you have to force the ...

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Yep looks like a cylinder gone but seems it is the Master. Weeping around spindle and no fluid in pot! B*mmer!
I think that we spoke about this on the phone earlier?
Correct.
I did a bit more "grubbing" about and have ascertained it is the Master Cylinder. It appears the fluid doesn't get ...

Re: Morris Marina convertable on Ebay
Has it been withdrawn as I tried looking it up but to no avail?
I rather fancy as the original post is five years back, the eBay listing will be long gone now ;)

Re: Another clutch question
As mentioned on "what did you do ...." thread I have found my Clutch inoperative yesterday. Closer inspection today indicates no fluid in Master Cylinder with some dampness around spindle inside bulkhead.

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Last weekend picked up the last of the blocks with the trailer unfortunately reversing the trailer in a tight spot caused the trailer to make contact with the bumper. No real damage but the n/s plastic quarter is a little worse for wear!

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Kermit, AKA the green baby sick machine by my neighbour, was in trailer action again at the weekend.
More paving blocks to pick up. By my calculations these blocks being thinner by 10mm than the last should have weighed less.
340 loaded into the trailer, 700 Kg by my calcs , but once loaded seemed a ...

Thanks Marina Coupe for the reply.
Sorry so long in relying went under my radar. Thought about the bumpers again today so looked on the forum, forgetting I have already asked the question. Given the cost of Chrome bumpers might not consider a swap, although the engineering would not be too difficult ...

Re: Converting a 4 speed gearbox to a 5 speed (1800)
OK Left field.
But years ago Commercial operators used to fit auxiliary boxes in the transmission to lower the revs at the diff (or indeed speed up by reversing the box). The auxiliary would be engaged by a switch on the dash, so presume electric solenoid engaged?
Presumably this was before, or a ...
