Re: Thank you Top Gear

I'd take it higher, (In the BBC.) Difficult to prove of course, but too much of a coincidence to prove otherwise. It is beginning to smack a little of the old offence of "incitement". Now known as "Encouraging or Assisting Crime". Fancy that - Honourable old BBC encouraging people to break the law!

Re: Thank you Top Gear

I'm presuming "Andy Wilman" (Isn't that the name of Ricky Gervaise's fictional character in "Extras"?) Must have a Degree to have got to the position of Executive Producer at the BBC. I think that confirms how much Universities are dumbing down these days!

Top Gear's latest "Blog":

http://transmission.blogs.topgear.com/2 ... -it-again/

I know we're not suppose to draw attention to it - but I really do despair.

Re: Should BL have launched a 'HOT' version of the Marina?

One of the books I've read recently (possibly Gillian Bardsley's Issigonis book) Spoke of a Marina with an MG grille sitting in one of the design rooms, but nothing came of it apparently because it was likely to step on the toes of one of the other cars.
