The brown coupé with the vinyl roof reminds me of a 1700 saloon I had, same colour scheme it was really straight unlike the 1300 saloon I had before it,it was a rust bucket,it did have a black webasto sunroof, that was great when it stopped raining.
I remember being chuffed because the brown saloon ...

Go for it, don't let it bother you what the purists might say, you will be driving around in a marina ,that means you have saved one, brilliant.

Re: You know you're in trouble..
I used to have a 1700 saloon same colour as the one in the top shot, the vinyl roof was darker I think.
can't see a coupé in that amazing collection, did any coupés make it over to New Zealand? I see the baby poo brown colour made it over, same colour as my coupé and I love it.

Like Wow ! Kilroy that is one amazing collection of cars you have, fantastic.
I get it in the neck from the boss with just two cars and two motorbikes,I think she'd keel over if she opened the bedroom curtains and seen that lot.
Brilliant stuff,

Re: 2 out of 3 ain't bad
That a nice line up,two very tidy marina's and that 101 victor looks like it's being looked after. If you can get a wheel cylinder cheap enough I would go for that ,then you still have your spare seals on the shelf.

Re: Classic.?
Good luck with the car show Kilroy, but you shouldn't need it ,that saloon nearest in the shot looks the dogs.
I bet you'll attract loads of lookers and enquiring minds.
For any and all the stick the Marina has suffered over the years they sure look good especially with your magic applied, the Kilroy ...

Re: Stolen Mk1 Estate - West Midlands
That looks like a very solid car, look at the front wings even though they are battered they have been solid before, also the front lower valance and headlamp panels look solid ,what a shame to see such a nice car being trashed.

the body looks to have survived the years, but as already said it could be rotten underneath.
It has been parked on some paving by the looks of it, definatley worth a visit with a trolley jack. :D

Re: Stolen Mk1 Estate - West Midlands
Very sad when these thing happen,I would be gutted if it happened to me,when my car hits the road I will keep this in mind.
Also as already stated that merc transporter isn't exactly a common site, surely someone must know where it came from, mind you the car is only someone's pride and joy,why would ...
