I will soon be overhauling my steering rack.
There seems to be dozens of sellers on Ebay offering the boots (gaiters). Does anyone have any experience of the good, the bad and the ugly? They seem to vary a lot in price so I guess, at least some, are rubbish.
Also I will be buying new track rod ends. Again I guess some are better than others?
Cheers, Robin

Re: Steering rack boots
Go by the manufacturer, I have used some Borg & Beck ones, the fit was good and the matched the original design exactly. The First Line ones are exactly the same as Borg & Beck and FirstLine are one and the same company.
The only caveat that I have is that all the new supplies use plastic cable ties to secure the boots at both ends, if you can, try and reuse the old steel screw type bindings.

Thanks Chris. I have seen both the Borg & Beck and First Line on ebay. I'll go for them.
