I saw the letter in the MMOC Mag regarding the Artic Monkeys Video!
I did a DVLA Vehicle Enquiry and that car was possible Taxed and Running in 2004!!

Not sure if the You Tube link will work but this nasty video is on here under Artic Monkeys - Fluorescent Adolescent.
I thought it looked cool driving on the video but WHY they had to destroy itI don't know.
Did anyone know this car?

As I watched I could see all those spares I could have re-used if they had not set fire to it!
I bet when it was bought they told the person selling it that it will be used in a film and forgot to mention they would wreck it.

thats my old car . it was a 1972 18sdl auto . i added the tc bits after buying it from matt hetherington .i sold it in 2000 to a guy who wanted it for his uncle to replace a marina that had been wrote off in a accident. i was offered the car back last year. after the owner died. i told the person to get in touch with the owners club.

Bad as it is to see another car destroyed, i suppose if you look on the bright side at least that car is now immortal, like so many other classic cars that have been destroyed in this way

There`s a J` reg saloon over here on the island Larry but the owner will not part with it at the moment, we are working on him but Jim doesn`t think he will let it go

, he has a massive collection of old BL cars as he used to be one of the islands main BL Dealers.
