Isle of Wight Ferry prices

Post by purplecoupe » Thu Aug 16, 2007 12:42 pm

Hiya,

Last minute decision - we are thinking about trying to get down for the Isle of Wight rally next weekend (unfortuantely the marina still wont be ready by then!) and when I'v looked into the ferries, they are quoting me between £60 and £110 which is quite a bit!

Is there any special rate that we can claim for being with the marina club etc?

Thanks!

Rachel

Hi Rachel

go to http://www.redfunnel.co.uk/

they have several different tariffs , the earlier you sail (offpeak) the cheaper it is .

they sail from Southampton to Cowes , which is where we are sailing from.

Hope this helps

Yeah I noticed different dates and times seem to be cheaper, we would love to come earlier but I couldnt get the friday off work and the ferries were looking very expensive! We've decided to have a run up to see some relatives in Scotland instead, but next year, the Marina will get there! She's nearly roadworthy now, and should be out and about soon!
