Forum Server Space

Post by ClaytonSpeed » Mon May 26, 2008 9:54 pm

I thought I would inform users of the yearly renewals for this forum. I rent space on the internet from a company called Siteground, I also rent pay a charge to keep the domain name. I pay this renewal from my own pocket as it is my forum. Some of the charges are increasing due to the ammount of traffic we are now recieving.

I am not looking to start a subscription for the forum so don't worry! What I would like to do is add a donate button for users to give what ever they want if they want just to help out with the renewals. This year I have a renewal for the following:

$93.00 That's dollers not £'s! So about £45 ish.

This is just for 1 year..

If you feel you want to donate then please paypal me direct I will setup a new paypal account strictly for the forum and keep a log of all dontions in the forum help pages. You may donate annomously if you wish.

Paypal: benzeylperoxide@hotmail.com

Please don't feel that I am doing this to make money for myself, I am doing this for the forum!

If you want to discuss any forum related issues or donations please speak to me or Sam.

Thank you.

Ben

Hey Ben...

I have my own server should you want me to host it...
I have 100MB of storage and upto 1TB of (short band) traffic monthly allowance with Media Temple...

If I can help, just say. If I can't I'll gladly donate to the cause.
This place has been really helpful to tons of people so raising the cash to cover costs won't be a problem...

Rob
