If you go on the Saturday you wont get access to the field to pitch up etc until at least 4pm so bare that in mind if you are planning on arriving early! I cant make it this year as its the start of the Edinburgh Festival and i have committed to workPont.skins wrote:Gary asked "Is it only on sat?"
The main day is Sunday but a lot of people get there Saturday evening and partake in the hog roast. It really is a quality weekend and should be in the running for a National Day venue (IMHO)
Peterborough - who's coming?

Beauty with brains behind it!
What time does it start and how much does it cost to get in?
I need to know how much cash to bring as i'll need some for the autojumble in the hope there might be a slave cylinder and a boot lid....

Thanks mate, I'm guessing it starts at about 10 or something.ado28 wrote:Hi Josh,
If you had pre booked it the entry fee would have been £3.50 so I think that on the day entry is £5. If your smart enough you could meet a club member at the gate and go into the show with them

Hi Josh
If you don't meet up with Barry then look out for a Harvest Gold Mk1 Coupe with rally wheels. I plan to get there about 10.00am. If you see me then flag me down.
Finally got her on the road tonight, just come in from taking her for a spin, first time she's turned a wheel under her own power for 8 months, god I missed that!!!!!

Some of today's Pics as they came of the camera - 24 cars in all including 9 Itals - more than 10% of the supposed population in one place.
Loads of Marina jumble including those £175 front wings. But I found 3 out of 4 of the wheel arch strips (new) that I have been looking for.
Hatchback Marina

Mine all mine I tell you!!

Brian Viney's MarTec now on fuel injection.

Blowy first thing

Yessssss?

Convoy home anyone?

Hopefullynext year I'll be going by Marina power.....
That's assuming next August she'll be roadworthy, as it will be during my half year exam leave... I expect throughout most of 2009 she'll be in pieces being worked on!
If it aint broke fix it....

Looks like a good turnout lads. Sadly I couldn’t make it there this year due to the official launch of the comedy bus at this years Edinburgh Festival but all was not lost! I have been surrounded by half naked women and enjoyed a free bar all night and also won a drinking/ treasure hunt competition. The only down side was my wife was with me all day so I couldn’t misbehave, oh well, not to worry …

Hi Larry,
No buyers, the wings are still available if you want them. The guy did have a pair of Coupe rear wings £75.00 each or offers though.
The hatchback is owned by a club member from Lincolnshire - hasn't been to a show for 5 years. It's an 80s conversion. Metro lower rear panel and boot lid, linked to a Capri window frame etc., makes for a 'what could BL have done type car'.
Needs quite a bit of TLC as it's rusting out around the hinges and grotty in all the normal places.
The Morris Morinho Coupe has some interesting wheels. Rover 100 with repositioned rims - centre carefully cut out and repositioned to suite. The owner told me that they are 6" as standard.
