Hi guys

can any one tell me when the wiper blades got switched from the early mark 1 to the later mark 1 cars - from pointing towards the passanger side to the drivers side of the car

Hi Andrew,

I don't have a date, but the changeover vehicle was chassis no 1041589 of according to the BL parts manual.

i am curious as there is a white coupe on ebay he says its reg 10/12/1971 - but has the wipers facing the driver , unlike my 1971 saloon

My wifes mk1 is on a K plate with the wipers facing away ! So i think this was only on the first year of manufacture !
