I suspect it was some sort of Janspeed or Maniflow front pipe.. prob Janspeed as i believe they suplied BMC.

When i did mine, i used a Mini Cooper Maniflow freeflow manifold, cut it, choped out 2" and turned it 90 deg, worked well...

You could try a sprite or 1300 midget one i think the only difference is the angle of the pipe at the bottom :wink:
