You can use Castrol Valvemaster which you can get from any Halfords if you wish to use an additive

It wont be a problem running it on unleaded as long as you don't give it a thrashing. There should be enough lead memory on the valves to keep it running smoothly. I use super unleaded when possible and all of my classics don’t seem to complain (well all the petrol ones anyway!)

i always use a lead substitute additive. i remember reading an article about "lead-memory" on the valves when leaded petrol was phased out. i think the article said that the led-memory could last as short as 2000/3000 miles...

Hi Dandaz, Ref your wiper arm. Looks like you may have a LHD or one for a different car!
What ever you do it will be up side down unless it is on the other side of the steering wheel!
Is the plastic part split where the metal splind arm fits? Only if not they can be pushed back in but you need it off the steering colume and pop the end cap top off and use a jig to protect the contacts and push it back in the correct orientation.

I have rebuilt my head lamp side as I had no black sleeving on my arm and it would not stay on main beam due to broken plastic clip, but all fixed by using a non marina arm stripped down to rebuild my original arm.

A bit fiddly to do, so only do it if you like that sort of thing

Wiper ones are abit more tricky to push back in compared to headlamp ones as hole is at an angle!

Good luck,
Paul.
