I don't see many minters for £2000 - ? Well not what I call minters!
The white saloon recently scrapped under scrappage scheme was meant to be a "Minter" but the centre section of front grill looked like it was touched in with a 2 inch brush!! I know only a small detail and all I can go on as I had not seen the car for a long time. Plus I only required the outside part of the grill

(Cheers to Ady) and I didn't need that bit of it, but certainly no minter. Maybe a solid car but not concourse.
I think mint marinas are thin on the ground, but this situation is getting better as people sort out some of the basket cases and transform them in to good cars. You only need to look at Darren Whites TC coupe and another one to watch close is Gavins TC
Be a shame to see your car crushed and then not be able to get one in as good nick
As Dave says, its not about money its about what the heart says and principals.
If I need £10,000 I can find it other ways than sell off my pride and joy. I would sell the other car long before I got rid of the Marina.
As always the value of your car depends on what someone will pay for it. If they don't want to pay you what you think its worth then don't sell it!
If you need the money that bad then you couldn't afford to run the car anyway so may be best sell it!
At the end of the day its your tin to play with and you can do what you like, just keep your hands off mine!!

:P
PS> Nothing wrong with my head either  :? Well apart from buy a Marina that is
