Water in the footwells part 2

Post by Billy Shears » Sun Apr 04, 2010 3:09 pm

Dear All

I have now removed the carpet, its condition is fine although the same cant be said for the foam type underlay/insulation
Anyone know where I get can hold of this stuff - I have kept the originals (whats left of them) so I can use them as templates
Thanks, Billy S

Your best bet is to go to either Woolies trim and buy under felt and cut to size or use a closed cell Nitrile foam sheet which will not soak up water and is super light in comparison. Used for Buildings but good for the underlay!
I am using both, felt in the rear and Nitrile at the front in case of a leak!

Armacell is one make NMC is another Link
