LHD , and 1972 was the first year for these here in norway. This is the 4.th oldest here as i know off. Hope someone steps up & save her. Are putting an ad on norwegian classic forums, but i don't get my hopes up, as i usually get NO replies whatsoever when trying to sell these cars

That is just such a shame
How about you get a big ship or build one made from scrap metal from all these Marinas and then ship a load over here for me

This would be a tax free car if registered in the UK, isnt there anyone here who would enjoy the novelty of a left hooker in a less than common colour?

If Norway was part of the EU it would be a piece of p*ss to import, but as it isn't it gets a bit more complicated (and having brought a bike in from Gibraltar, I ruddy well know how arsey the DVLA/C&E can get....).
Mind you, the Norwegians are sensible.....

The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

But Norway is part of the European Free Trade Area and the car is repatriated British made so that should make things easier???

can't say about the uk- laws  but when bringing cars FROM uk to norway the all have to go through a lot of red-tape and also have to be v.a.t'ed to bring in here, in addition to this there is a flat fee of approx £500/600 to get the norwegian plates on them as long as the car is older than 30 years. I DO have a UK registred mk1 estate tho.....
plans for this summers work will be ... Suddenly realise that this will be another topic

There are other ways, of course, which would be advantageous when dealing with your estate...
How much would it cost to get it back here do you think?
Like which ferries etc?
Whats the interior like?
I'd like a left-hooker for my French adventures

3 Mk1 estates
I remember the photos of your trip home from the Uk in your rhd estate but havent seen any views of your lhd estates -please do you have any pictures to share? My mk1 estate is too far rusted for me to be able to rebuild it but I hope to keep it as it is in the garage for the rest of my life!
