southern classics car show at bewl water

if any one is around this sunday (6th june) southern classics are holding there summer show at bewl water it is a turn up on the day event and cost £5 to get in that is per car not per person. its a great place for the family to have a walk and a picnic.

oh well the weather outlook at bewl is heavy rain and thunder so we have decided not to go as much as i want to got to think of baby cant have him getting cold and wet

Well I was there and the only Marina!
Did look for others but I was on my todd
My car got rained on the night before but was covered and just as well as all the grit from the house roof was on it in the morning :roll:
It did rain once during the show but it went over in about 20 minutes and a quick leather off and it was fine. Very hot day 8)

Glad I went as I picked up a nice trophy which was a nice end to the day. I nearly missed the prize giving so Wife collected it as she is more on the ball
Won best 70's Classic group pipping the MK3 Craford Cortina who came in second:D
I risked leaving it while I had lunch expecting the front suspension and engine to be missing on return as there were many MGB's and Morris Minors there but everyone was very nice and chatty. Most had not seen a Marina for years and if they had it was had it so many thought it was great to see one in good nick.

2 weeks time off to a local show round the corner, only a village fate so hope weather is OK.

well done on trophy thats excellent
sounds like the weather men this morning got the report wrong thats why i did not go in the end as got a 9 week old baby though it mite have been unfair to him .
but still i got a few jobs done on cars in the end.
