It was nice to meet Philip, I had no idea he was your brother David! I am a bit slow to make those sort of connections but I get there in the end
Sounds like you had an adventure on the way home as well so I will wait for the full story
Saw both of your cars in Pickering before the end of Sunday, the Rapier near the BP garage as I zipped in to a pub car park for dinner and your TC on the round-a-bout near there as well!
Then the rain came! but it did wash off all the dust

I had a cracking time at the nationals at the weekend thanks to Balmy & Fruity for letting me tag along i met some great people along the way, Chris(MARINA COUPE) great to sit along side you on the road run, Paul(JUBILEE NUT) awesome car it was great to see it in the flesh & on the road,the engine bay was stunning!, Brian(MARTEC) beautifull garden & some great cars,thanks for the lovely lunch. Nice to meet everybody i had a good day on sunday looking at everyones cars it was a good turn out hope to see you all next year cheers for now.....

Was nice to see the Marinas at the MMOC, enjoyed looking around the cars on display and talking to those of you i met.

Just been catching up with some of my local members, some of you will know Darren & Babs and their spaniel Jake (Teal Blue Mk1 auto saloon), they drove up to Yorkshire from Cambridgeshire and towed a caravan with their Volvo 360. They opted to drive home on Monday. Darren drove the Marina and Babs drove the Volvo towing their caravan. It seems that once on the A1 the caravan started steering the Volvo, resulting in it rolling over and inverting the Volvo as well. As Babs put it, "I found myself going along the A1 upside down, being chased by the caravan.

It seems like the car and van may be a write of, but thankfully Babs just has cuts and bruses. Jake is reportedly walking with a limp, but it maybe a plea for sympathy.

Well that's what happens when you drive a Volvo 360 :shock: Yeah! Sorry had to write that.
Glad all are OK which is the main thing, oh and the Marina was not damaged

hi chris NO david didnt have to tow me back home to sunny old devon. lol.
as you know i did have bit of a tyre issue on the way home! it was good to
catch up again this year. looking forward to seeing the pics in the next mag.

Go to the front page of the website and scroll down to "National 2010 Show Report", click on it and you'll come to another intro page with fruity and balmy's happy faces grinning at you. Click on either of the links here and it will take you to a mainly picture report page, including you standing by your Jubilee.

I am in the throws of doing something similar based on the Road Run and this will also be accessed from the fruity and balmy page.

If you can't find any of this then you need to retype the club web address and refresh your cache.

I looked everywhere and couldn't find them yesterday I am currently using google chrome as a browser and have this forum on a bookmark-seems it isnt updated with new titles.

Found it by using interent explorer-bookmarked on this too but obviously updated as it appeared on here-weird.
